Time is a funny thing. We all have the same amount. Yet, some people seem to have more and some people never have enough! Isn’t that an interesting observation? What’s the difference?
Let me add a little more context here. I recently offered to coach someone which can quite literally transform their life as they know it. I can help someone discover the path they are on is a dead end, and help them refocus their efforts in new, productive, and energizing ways.
But they “don’t have enough time”, or are “too busy”, or “can’t find the time.” To be clear, they are so busy doing things that are draining, disempowering, and frustrating, that they don’t have enough time to STOP doing all that in order to change their life in profound ways.
The point here is that “not having enough time” is an insidious, disempowering delusion. It is the result of saying YES to too many things, possibly a lack of focus, and definitely a lack of clarity on what really matters.
So, what’s the solution? You must simply focus and say YES to what really matters and be zealous about what you say NO to.
Today, my challenge is for you to say NO to at least one thing in your life that drains you, makes you feel like crap, or doesn’t lead purposefully to something you are trying to create in your life.
Use the comments below and tell me the 1 thing you said NO to!
